This article is designed to help you to recognize all the things you have to be grateful for in your life.
Unfortunately, all too often we pay attention to the negatives in life. We allow self-limiting and negative thoughts to run wild and stay rooted in our minds, such as; “I don’t have enough money”, “I’ll never repay my debt”, “I am not good enough” and “I don’t have many friends”.
These thoughts are and will HOLD you back from getting all of the success, abundance and joy that you deserve. But the good news is that you can start to break away from this pattern of negative thinking by getting into the habit of recognizing things that you are GRATEFUL for in your life each and every day. Gradually, you will find that you naturally start to pay more attention to the positive things happening around you in your daily life, big and small.
For each day, record three things that you genuinely feel grateful for. Keep a journal if you can. If you feel yourself getting caught thinking negatively about something during the day, try to use this FLIPPING technique to counteract these thoughts by writing down at least one thing you are grateful for in regards to that particular situation.
This will get you in the habit of appreciating the the positive things around you rather than dwelling on the negatives. Over time, you will find that focusing on the great things you have in your life will cause a shift in your thought patterns, leading to more positive emotions and a brighter outlook.
Magnetize Your Thoughts
Not many people realize that their thoughts can be a very powerful magnet attracting things towards them. What they attract depend on what and how they magnetize their thoughts!
How do we magnetize an ordinary piece of metal? Simply stroke a magnet in one direction along the metal in the area you wish to magnetize. This will align the domains of the material in the same direction. Continue stroking in the same direction, in the same area. If you start stroking in the opposite direction, the domains will become misaligned and the metal’s own magnetic field will weaken.
In the same way, negative people stroke their ‘metal’ with negative thoughts, behaviors and feelings. The more they stroke it this way, the more their magnetized metal attract the negative things.
The only way to reverse the situation is to start stroking it in the opposite direction! Start stroking it with positive thoughts, behaviors and feelings. Practicing GRATITUDE is one of most powerful techniques to infuse positive strokes to your metal! Unfortunately, it is also one the most forgotten techniques.
Staying on course
Once you are successful in getting your ‘metal’ positively magnetized, you will find yourself starting to attract bite size success and gradually things that you desire. Do not be complacent. Remember to be GRATEFUL for the success, no matter how small it is.
Once you are there, keep it there and if you can, try to be better. For whatever reasons, if you find yourself occasionally stroking in the opposite direction, remember to FLIP it around at the very instance you realize it. Otherwise, your magnet will be become misaligned and the attraction power will weaken.
